1)In the first Semi-Final Australia defeated New Zealand by 34 runs to qualify for the Final.
2) West Indies defeated South Africa by six wicket in the second Semi-Final with a stunning century from Chris Gayle(133*) who batted right through the West Indies innings.
The final was a disappointment for West Indies who batted poorly after winning the toss and were rattled out for 134 runs, which Australia knocked off for the loss of just two wickets(D/L) to claim their first lein on the Champions Trophy.
