Attended by 600 strong the 40th Anniversary Dinner of the West Indies first Test Match victory in England in 1950 was celebrated at the Pegasus Hotel in Jamaica in 1990.The main toast to cricket was given by the Right Honorable Michael Manley Prime Minister of Jamaica with additional speeches by Sportswriter Jimmy Cozier,England Captain Sir Leonard Hutton and former West Indies Captain Gerry Gomez.
