West Indies defeated England in the final test on the fourth day in Antigua by an innings and 32 runs to win the Test Series 2-1.A record opening stand of 298 runs by Gordon Greenidge(149) and Desmond Haynes(167) in the West Indies first innings(446 runs) set the match up perfectly for the home team.England were all out for 154 runs in their second innings with Curtly Ambrose taking 4 for 22 who was also named Man of the Series.Desmond Haynes was named Man of the Match.
